Lululemon Align Leggings Review -- My Wife Has 7 Pairs (Here Is Why)
Lululemon
⭐ Our Verdict
My wife owns 7 pairs and wears them daily. They are absurdly comfortable. The downside is pilling between thighs and they are not for high-intensity workouts. Treat them as luxury loungewear/yoga leggings, not gym leggings.
✅ Pros
- ✓Nulu fabric is the softest athletic material available
- ✓Buttery soft with zero compression -- feels like nothing
- ✓High-rise waistband stays put during yoga and lounging
- ✓Holds shape after 100+ washes (wash cold, air dry)
- ✓Size-inclusive from 0-20 with multiple inseams
⚠️ Cons
- ✗Pills between thighs after 6-12 months of regular wear
- ✗Not for high-intensity workouts (too delicate)
- ✗$98-118 is premium pricing
- ✗Must wash cold and air dry -- dryer will destroy them
From my wife, who owns 7 pairs: "I bought my first pair of Aligns 2 years ago. Now I have 7. They are the only pants I want to wear."
The Nulu Fabric
Brushed on both sides for a peachy-soft finish with minimal compression. After 2 years, slight pilling between thighs but no thinning or holes. A fabric shaver ($12) fixes pilling in 30 seconds.
Care Instructions
Wash cold, inside out, air dry ONLY. The dryer will degrade Nulu fibers. These rules matter at $98 a pair.
Best Price
$98 on Amazon. Lululemon We Made Too Much sale has Aligns at $69-79.
