Adaptive Transparency

Transparency mode pipes in outside sound. Apple's version dynamically reduces loud sudden noises (sirens, construction) while keeping voices clear. I wear these walking through the city and can hear traffic while my podcast stays clear.

Battery Degradation

After 14 months and 1,200+ hours, battery dropped from 6 hours to about 4.5 hours per charge. Normal for lithium-ion at this cycle count. AppleCare+ does not cover normal battery degradation.
