HALO SleepSack Review - The $25 Swaddle That Helped My Baby Sleep Through Night
HALO
โญ Our Verdict
Best swaddle for transitioning. Start with arms in, then one arm out, then sleep sack. HALO supports the full swaddle-to-sleep-sack journey. Worth the $25 for 3 months of better sleep.
โ Pros
- โ3-way adjustable swaddle arms in, one arm, both arms out
- โRecognized as Hip Healthy by Hip Dysplasia Institute
- โInverted zipper for easy diaper changes
- โ100% cotton breathable fabric
- โRoom to transition when baby starts rolling
โ ๏ธ Cons
- โVelcro is LOUD during nighttime diaper changes
- โCotton pills after repeated washing
- โSize Small only fits 0-3 months (buy multiple sizes)
- โSome babies Houdini their arms out
The HALO SleepSack was the transition tool we needed. When our baby started rolling (can"t swaddle arms in anymore), we used one arm out for a week, then both arms out. Smoother transition than any other swaddle we tried.
HALO vs Snoo Sack vs traditional swaddle
HALO: $25, 3-way transition, hip-healthy. Snoo Sack: only works with $1,700 Snoo bassinet. Traditional swaddle: works, but Houdini babies escape + transition is harder. HALO wins for most parents.
