Furbo 360° Dog Camera Review — What My Golden Retriever Does When I'm Gone

Treat Tossing — More Useful Than Expected

The treat-tossing feature seemed gimmicky at first. Then I used it during a thunderstorm — I was at dinner, got a barking alert, saw Cooper looking anxious on the camera, and tossed him a treat via the app. He immediately settled down. The positive association builds over time: treats come from the Furbo, the Furbo is good, being alone is less scary. It's not a cure for separation anxiety, but it's a meaningful tool in the toolkit.

Two-Way Audio Quality

My voice comes through slightly compressed but clear enough that Cooper recognizes me. When I say "Cooper, settle," he visibly calms down on camera. The microphone picks up sounds well — I can hear tags jingling and even his panting. There's a 1-2 second delay, so conversations aren't exactly fluid, but for giving commands or reassurance, it works.
